Flight Simulator X – Flying from London to the Sahara

Map Size: flying 6:32:13 minutes from end to end!

How Big is Microsoft Flight Simulator X? I fly in a Extra 300S plane to find out. I fly from London, Great Britain to the Sahara Desert in Africa, Algeria to be exact. During this long journey I try to keep this plane in the air upright and try to fly to Africa in a straight line. That’s a hard thing to do. I don’t want to look at the map too much. The map is not really in the game, it’s more on the Windows desktop. So in a sort of straight line I fly from London (2:00), to France (35:30), over the Pyrenees (2:56:05), across the Mediterranean (5:12:50) to Africa (5:39:00) and end up in the Sahara (6:21:00).  If it takes about 6 hours to fly from England to Africa, in a plane like this, it will take 72 hours to fly around the whole world in Flight Simulator X.
